Description

This Job Aid illustrates how a student can save credit/debit card information for future use via self-service (the Portal).  NOTE: This is an option that presents itself during the credit/debit card payment process of the student’s tuition and fees.

Instructions:

1.

Login to mySDCCD at: https://myportal.sdccd.edu.

2.Click the “College Student Dashboard”.

Click “Pay Now”.

4.Click the “Make a Payment” button.

5.Click the “Make Payment” button.

6.Click the box next to the appropriate term.  A checkmark will appear in the box.  [If monies are owed for more than one term, a list of the terms will be displayed.]

7.Click in the “Method” field and select “Credit or Debit Card”.  Click the “Continue” button.

8.In the “*Card number:” field, enter the credit card number.  Click the “Continue” button.

9.In the “Account Information” section, enter the appropriate information in the following fields: “*Name on card:”, “*Card expiration date:”, “*Card Verification Value:”.

At this point, the student has the option to save the credit/debit card information for future use.

Click the “Save this payment method for future use” box so that a checkmark appears in the box.  In the “Save payment method as:” field, enter a name or short description for the card.

Click the “Continue” button.

11.Review and confirm that all the information displayed is correct.  Click the “Submit Payment” button

12.Click the “Print” button to print a receipt for your records.
