Under the “Find an Existing Value” tab, enter the “Student ID” number into the ID field.

    Click “Search”.

Note: Always perform a search before adding milestones.  If no milestones exist for the student, the message “No matching values were found” will appear. Continue to the “Add a new Milestone” section for directions.  If milestones do exist, continue to the “Add an Additional Milestone” section for directions.

  1. In this example, the student has two milestones.  The first milestone displayed is “SKILL_READ”.  To scroll through the milestones, click the arrow key image-20260727-185603.png on the Milestone Detail row.

    • The “Effective Date” must be on or before the first day of the term in which the milestone needs to be effective. For example, for fall 2018, the milestone effective date must be on or before the first day of that term.

    • The first “Milestone” displayed is SKILL_READ.

    • The “Milestone Level” is 60.

    • The “Milestone Complete” filed is listed as “Completed”.

When finished, click the “Return to Search” button to return to the “Student Milestones page”.

Note:  Milestones must be in a completed status in order for the milestone to act as a pre-requisite override for course registration.
