Highest Education Level
Summary
We had a question about the “highest education level” on the CCCApply application as shown below on the “Additional Data” tab on Maintain Applications:
The highest education level is 5 digits. First digit is the education level and the last four is the year.
- 0 = Not a graduate of, and no longer enrolled in high school
- 1 = Will be enrolled in high school (or lower grade) and college at the same time
- 2 = Currently enrolled in adult school
- 3 = Received high school diploma from U.S. school
- 4 = Passed a high school equivalency test and received a certificate of high school equivalency
- 5 = Received a Certificate of California High School Proficiency
- 6 = Received a diploma/certificate of graduation from a Foreign secondary school
- 7 = Received an associate degree
- 8 = Received a bachelor’s degree or higher
- X = No degree
Note:
- If the education level is 0, 1, 2 then the last four will read 0000
- If the student never attended college, then the “College Education Level” will be blank
