This tutorial will walk students through the process of changing the letter option for a class to letter (A-F) or Pass/No-Pass.

Introduction Info

The grading option may not be available for certain classes.  If you do not see a drop-down menu, then that class has no grading option.

Login to mySDCCD and look at your My Classes pagelet.  You'll want to click on "Enroll" and click on "Edit"

(question) You may need to select a semester if you have the option to register in more than one semester.

Select the class you wish to change and click on "Proceed to Step 2 of 3"

On the right side you should see the "Grading" label, next to it is a drop-down box.  Click on it and select the grading option you wish to change to:

(warning) If the box is not available, then the class does not have a grading option.

Click on the "Next" Button:

The next page will verify your change.  If you are satisfied with the changes, click on "Finish Editing"

You have now successfully changed your grading option.
