Online Class Schedule- How to Search For Classes When Logged In

This guide shows students how to search for classes in the Online Class Schedule via the mySDCCD portal.

Instructions

  1. Log into your mySDCCD account by going to http://my.sdccd.edu  and entering your 10-digit User ID, Password, and clicking on "Sign In"

2. On the main navigation page, click on the Student Self Service tile.  If you see other tiles, you are, or may have been, an employee of the District. 

 

3a. You can find "Class Search" two ways. The first way is under the "My Classes" pagelet. In the bottom left corner, you can see the "Class Search" button.

3b. The other way to find class search is to click on the blue side menu tab, then click on "My Classes", and finally click on "Class Search"

4. sing Class search: The institution, term, and course career will auto populate to San Diego Community Coll District, the current term, and "Undergraduate", respectively

**If you are not an undergraduate you can click the drop down 

arrow for more options. 

To search for classes, you must enter at least 2 search criteria in the "Class Search Section"

  • College 

    • City College

    • Mesa College

    • Miramar College

  • Subject

    • (I.E. Accounting, Biology, Sociology, etc.)

  • Course Number

    • Is Exactly

    • Contains

    • Greater than or equal to

    • Less than or equal to )

  • Location

    • Off Campus,

    • On Campus

    • Partially Online

    • Web Online

You can check or uncheck 

"Show Open Classes Only" depending on your preference.

5. Click "Search."

Classes that fit the search criteria you entered will appear. 

For example: If you Selected "Mesa College" and "Accounting", accounting classes available at Mesa College would appear in the class search.

6. Click on the arrow next to "Additional Search Criteria "to search by

  • Session

    • All

    • Primary

    • Short

  • Start Time

    • Between

    • Greater Than

    • Greater Than or Equal To

    • Is Exactly

    • Less Than

    • Less Than or Equal To

  • End Time

    • Between

    • Greater Than

    • Greater Than or Equal To

    • Is Exactly

    • Less Than

    • Less Than or Equal To

  • Days of the Week

    • Exclude Any

    • Exclude Onl

    • Include Any

    • Include Only
      (You can check or uncheck

      which days apply- Monday-Sunday)

  • Class Number

  • Course Keyword

  • Minimum Units

    • Greater Than

    • Greater Than or Equal To

    • Is Exactly

    • Less Than

    • Less Than or Equal To

  • Maximum Units

    • Greater Than

    • Greater Than or Equal To

    • Is Exactly

    • Less Than

    • Less Than or Equal To

  • Instructor Last Name
