Prerequisites

Student must have been dropped/withdrawn and the withdrawal deadline has not passed.

Instructions

This Job Aid will go over the process for faculty to reinstate students.

After logging into my.sdccd.edu and clicking on College Faculty Dashboard, Navigate to the College Faculty Schedule pagelet.

Click on the current semester to view a brief overview of class information such as class number, name, location, dates, times, and enrollment.

 Some links will not show if there are no students registered or the function is not available yet (e.g. Permission Numbers and Grade Rosters).

Click on Class Roster.

Any student that has been dropped or withdrawn will have a STATUS NOTE of Dropped (was enrolled). To reinstate the student check the box within the "Reinstate" column and click the Save button.

Note: You may have to change your Enrollment Status to All to see dropped or never attended students.

Validate the results.

If successful, you should see the student back in your class roster with a status = enrolled.

If unsuccessful, the students will not become active again and the enrollment error column will appear.

Click the blue Info icon for details on why the reinstatement failed. Common errors include holds, time conflicts, and too many units for a term.
