After logging into my.sdccd.edu and clicking on College Faculty Dashboard, navigate to the College Faculty Schedule pagelet.

  • Click on the current semester

  • Click on the Class Number

  • Click on Class Roster (Waitlist/Drop/Reinstate)

The Class Roster will show 10 tabs: Notify, Name, ID, Absences, FED (Financial Aid/Veteran), Withdraw, Reinstate, Never Attended, Status Note, and Last Known Academic Activity

Please note: The enrollment status will automatically populate to "Enrolled". Click on the Enrollment Status drop down menu to view students with a status of "Waitlisted", "Dropped", or "Reinstated"

From the Class Roster page, you can send 1 or more students a message by:

  • Clicking directly on the student's name. Students without valid email address will not have a hyperlink in their name. 

  • Or Click on the Notify checkbox or click on "Select All" and then "Notify Selected Students". Dropped and withdrawn students will not be selected.

 Attention: This will use whatever your default email address you have setup on your email client.  If you do not wish to send your from personal email address be sure to have your SDCCD email setup on your email client.

You will be taken to the Email Students page where you can either click on "Send Email" which will open up your email application (e.g. Outlook, Mail) and pre-populate the BCC field.

Alternatively you can just copy and paste the emails pre-formatted to work in your web-based email system.  You can paste this in the BCC field.
