Exporting your Class Roster to Excel (and Printing)

Description | This Job Aid will go over the process of exporting your Class Roster from Campus Solutions. The export Excel file will be used to manually track and maintain class attendance for the semester. |

1 | Using your 10-Digit ID and password, log into your mySDCCD Portal at my.sdccd.edu. |
2 | Click on the College Faculty Dashboard tile. |
3 | In the College Faculty Schedule Pagelet, click on the Class Number for the class section for which you want to download the Class Roster. |
4 | After clicking on the Class Number, a menu of options will display. Select the Class Roster option. |
5 | You will be directed to the Class Roster Page for the class section you selected. |
6 | Click on the Grid Icon , to export your Class Roster into Excel. Notes:

7 | After clicking on the Grid Icon , to export your Class Roster into Excel, and depending on the web browser you are using, you should see the file appear at the bottom of your screen. Click on the file to open it. Notes:

8 | The Microsoft Excel Program will open on your computer. You will see a dialog box displayed; click Yes to open the file in Excel. |
9 | Depending on your web browser, you may need to click the Enable Editing button to manipulate the Excel file. You can also save the Excel file for later use. |
10 | To print your Class Roster from Excel, click on File. |
11 | Select the Print option. |
12 | Change the Orientation of the page from Portrait to Landscape. |
13 | Change the Scaling of the page from No Scaling to Fit All Columns on One Page. |
14 | Change the Margins of the page from Custom Margins to Narrow (Margins). |
15 | When you are satisfied with your Class Roster print settings, click the Print button. |
