Definition for UGRD

This element identifies the total number of FTES the student earned for the course. One FTES is the equivalent of 30 credit units enrolled or 525 student contact hours in credit or noncredit courses per student per year.

FTES is calculated based on the accounting method and session code.

Note: At the enrollment-level STUDENT FTES is populated, even if the INCL EXCL IND = N (STUDENT FTES is not reportable).Non-reportable STUDENT FTES are not included in course-level calculations. This makes it easy to compute lost FTES based on drops, for example.
