This element identifies the attendance hours by student (counts for funding for positive attendance courses only).

Here is how to calculate attendance hours using native PeopleSoft data: Use CLASS_ATTENDNCE table. Sum CONTACT_MINUTES by TERM, CLASS_NUM, and EMPLID. Divide by 60 to return in hours.

Always cross-reference ATTENDANCE HOURSE with ACCOUNTING METHOD. ATTENDANCE HOURS are used to calculate WSCH and FTES where XB01 = P, E, or G.
