mySDCCD - Go Live Updates

As you may know, we sent out 28,808 email last night to students inviting them to the portal.  I just wanted to give everyone updates as we respond to help requests:

1. When creating your mySDCCD account, the user must input their User ID (10-digits), date of birth and email address.  The email address field is case sensitive. Some emails were converted from ISIS to all capital letters.  IT Services is in the process of removing the case sensitive requirement but in the meantime please make sure that students either use all lowercase characters, or if that doesn’t work try uppercase characters. (e.g. if student@gmail.com doesn’t work have them try STUDENT@GMAIL.COM) 

2. Be sure students use “/” in their birthdate field and it’s in the MM/DD/YYYY format.  (e.g. June 1, 2000 is 06/01/2000)

3. If students need help logging into the portal, please have them visit http://mysdccd.info or they can email us at myhelp@sdccd.edu.  This is the best way for students to get help as we have to research each issue individually.  

4. Some students are still under the impression that registration for Fall 2018 will be through mySDCCD.  Please remind students that registration for Fall 2018 classes will still be through Reg-e and they will be using their 7-digit CSID and PIN just like they do now to register for Fall 2018 classes.
