Introduction Info

This guide explains the procedure for administratively adding a student to a class waitlist.

The class must be at maximum capacity and there must be seats available on the waitlist for staff to add students to a class waitlist.

Navigate to Campus Community > Student Services Center.

On the Student Services Center Search Page, enter the 10-digit ID number for the student.

Click the Search button.

Click on the Academics tab.

On the Academics tab:

A. Click on the Term.

B. Click on the Quick Enrollment link.

You will be directed to the Quick Enrollment page.

Note: Ensure the class is at maximum capacity and there are waitlist seats available for staff to add a student to the waitlist.

On the Class Enrollment tab:

A. Select Action = Enrollment.

B. Enter the 5-digit Class Number.



If applicable because the student has a service indicator/hold, click on the General Overrides tab:

C. Check the Service Indicator checkbox.



On the Class Overrides tab:

D. Check the Waitlist Okay checkbox.

E. Click the Submit button.

A successful transaction will generate Messages. Click on the Messages link.

The message will let you know the student’s waitlist position number. Click the Return button to return to the Quick Enrollment page.

Click the Student Services Center link to return to the Student Services Center page.

End of Process.  



TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

 Student is enrolled instead of waitlisted.

  • Staff did not check the Waitlist Okay checkbox and there were open seats within the class capacity or Closed Cap was overridden.

 Student is not waitlisted.

  • The Last Date to waitlist for the class has passed.

  • The class does not have waitlist seats available.

  • The student has a hold on their record.

 You do not see a Waitlist Okay checkbox.

  • Missing security.
