Dropping a Class - Enrolled or Waitlisted

Introduction Info

Students may drop themselves from classes until the day before class starts. Students can drop classes whether they are enrolled or waitlisted in the class.

After the class starts, enrolled students who wish to drop their class must contact their instructor to be dropped from the class. Waitlisted students must contact Student Services to be removed from the class waitlist.

Log into your mySDCCD account and click on your CE Student Dashboard.

On the Continuing Education Classes pagelet, click the Enroll link. Then click the Drop option.

Select the Term and click the Continue button.

You will be directed to the Drop Classes page. Select the class(es) you wish to drop from.

Note: If you attempt to drop yourself from a class that has already started, you will receive a pop-up message telling you to contact your instructor so they can drop you from the class.

If the class has not started:

A. Select the class.

B. Provide a reason why you are dropping the class.

C. Click the Drop Selected classes button.

 Note: If a drop reason is not selected, you will not be able to drop the class.

Confirm the classes you wish to drop and click the Finish Dropping button.

A successful drop transaction will display the below message.
