Multifactor Authentication Multifactor authentication (MFA) will be required by all students when they activate their Microsoft 365 accounts with SDCCD. This involves a code sent to the student’s smartphone in order to verify the student’s identity. Sometimes the information saved for the smartphone needs to be reset. More information about requesting a reset to your MFA can be found here<insert link>Not every student has a phone, however, so SafeID tokens are available in that case. SafeID tokes can be requested to be picked up at any SDCCD College location. All accounts will be required to use an MFA. In this case, you will choose from two options for your account:
The Microsoft authenticator app or any other authenticator app
Text or call your cellphone
