Blog from July, 2019

At this juncture in the implementation, all SDCCD staff and faculty should be working primarily in
Campus Solutions.

NEW BUSINESS PROCESSES

  • 107,024 fall registration appointments have been generated and are now appearing on students'
mySDCCD portal. Registration appointments can be viewed by staff via the Student Services Center.
Emails have been sent to students instructing them to log into their portal to view their
    appointment date and time.

  • The College Flex system opens today for Fall 2019; faculty should log in with their 10 digit
    mySDCCD ID and password

NEW ISSUES BEING ADDRESSED

  • Canvas extract file reflects dropped students as still enrolled

  • College attendance tracking overnight job is failing

  • Faculty with only non classroom assignments are currently not able to access Flex

  • Reinstated students cannot be assigned a grade

KNOWN ISSUES BEING ADDRESSED

    Waitlist

  • Previous colleges attended are duplicating on the Application for Admission

  • Requisites between short-term classes are not uniformly enforced

  • Student groups (unofficial requisites) are not consistently clearing prerequisites

ISSUES RESOLVED

  • Fall open enrollment date was appearing instead of the student’s actual fall appointment date in
mySDCCD. Registration appointments were correctly displayed Friday, June 28th

  • Students who dropped all their classes were having their health fees reversed even if dropped after
    the refund deadline

  • Students enrolled in a tutoring class now have their enrollment fees properly charged

  • Positive Attendance/Grade Rosters no longer include students who were dropped

  • "No Drops to Report" button disabled before the Census date for the class
