Must have Mozilla Firefox installed on system and internet access. *Disclaimer: Clearing your CACHE may clear all saved passwords.*

Instructions:

This Job Aid will go over the process of clearing your cache on Mozilla Firefox.

StepAction
1.

Open up a Mozilla Firefox web browser by clicking on the icon

On the upper right hand corner, click on three stacked lines icon          to open up the Firefox internet browser menu.

3.On the left navigation pane, click on the Privacy & Security link.  Then scroll down to “Cookies and Site Data. Checkmark the “Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed”. Click the Clear Data option

4.The Clear Data box will appear. Check both boxes for “Cookies and Site Data” and “Cached Web Content”. Then click on Clear.

5.Clear all cookies and site data box will appear. Click on the Clear Now button.

Scroll down to “History”. To have Firefox not retain browsing history, click the drop down menu next to “Firefox will” and select “Never remember history”.


A new pop-up will appear recommending a restart of Firefox. To enable feature, click on the Restart Firefox now button.

Still on the History section, click on the Clear History button.


Click the drop down menu next to “Time range to clear” and select “Everything”. Ensure “Site Preferences” and “Offline Website Data” are both check marked before clicking on Clear Now.

To use short hand keys: hold down Ctrl + Shift + Delete on the keyboard and follow steps 7 to clear all history.
