San Diego City College | Fall 2024 San Diego Promise Cohort!

We are delighted to extend our congratulations on your admission to the Promise Program for the Fall 2024 cohort!

As a Promise student, it is crucial that you familiarize yourself with and adhere to the state-funded requirements outlined below:

Enroll in at least 12 units each semester: Enrollment in at least 12 units each semester is required to maintain full-time student status. Students may also fulfill this requirement through Full-Time Equivalency accommodation provided by Disability Support Programs and Services via a (DSPS waiver). Failure to comply will result in removal from the San Diego Promise program.
Attend a Promise Program orientation at your home campus: Orientation plays a pivotal role in acquainting you with the Promise program, campus resources, and valuable information to enhance your academic success. Please ensure your attendance at the orientation session at your home campus Promise office to commence your journey on the right foot.
Apply for Financial Aid to have access to a second year of San Diego Promise: The 2024-2025 Application for Financial Aid opens October 2024[JP1] .[RR2] Students looking to take part in San Diego Promise for a second year MUST submit a 2025-2026 application for financial aid.
