Prerequisites

Students must have applied to the College of Continuing Education and applied for a program that requires orientation. (Emeritus, ESL and DSPS have different requirements.)

  1. Login to mySDCCD and click on the CE Student Dashboard:

  1. Visit the “My To-Do List” pagelet and look for “SDCCE Student Orientation””

  2. Click on the link and a pop-up appears like below, make sure you have your Student ID handy and then click on the SDCCE: Orientation link:

  3. This will take you to the online orientation software. From here enter your information, it’s important that you use the same information as on your college application

  4. This is where you will enter your student ID. It has to match

  5. Complete the orientation, be sure to read and follow the onscreen prompts

  6. On the left side you can see where you are in the orientation process. Navigate to each step using the navigation options on the top right.

  7. At the end of the orientation you’ll be asked to fill out a survey. When you’re done, click on “Next” and you’ll receive credit for your orientation.

  8. You’re done! Your to-do list items should have disappeared from your mySDCCD portal. Additionally within 15 minutes you should be cleared to enroll in classes.
