NEW BUSINESS PROCESSES

  • CE Summer 2019 semester started today

  • CE Tracking is live for Summer

  • Spring 2019 Final Grades and Academic Standing have been moved from ISIS
    to Campus Solutions (cleanup is continuing this week for repeat codes and
    late grades)

KNOWN ISSUES BEING ADDRESSED

  • Attendance Roster is pre-populating some hours for some students

  • Attendance/Grade Rosters are including students who were dropped
    CCPG (formerly BOGW) incorrectly canceled for Fall and/or Spring for some FA
    students; manual adjustments are being made

  • Co-requisites not working consistently; students are being manually enrolled from
    the Waitlist

  • Missing Data on Schedule of Classes Pages (# of Days, # of Weeks, Scheduled
    Hours, TBA Hours, Total Hours, Section FTE, and Adjusted FTE)

  • Previous colleges attended are duplicating on the Application for Admission

  • Faculty are unable to reinstate dropped students

  • Students enrolled from Waitlist are not being charged the Health/Accident Fees

ISSUES RESOLVED

  • Preferred name is now showing on Portal

TIP OF THE WEEK

  • The Effective Date for all prerequisite student groups must be Summer's Best
    Practice Date: 06/01/2019

  • Continuing Education Attendance Rosters are not available for faculty until
    the start date of the class

  • Canvas has now replaced Blackboard beginning Summer. Students will be
    able to login to Canvas on the first day of class at https://sdccd.instructure.com
    using their 10 digit ID and Date of Birth. The Canvas Online instruction email is
    sent out to students the week prior to the start of class, and every 4 hours after
    the class has started.
